Mr. Welcome

Developer, Jeffery Berkowitz, of Dadeland Station, Kendall, Florida commissioned Miami Beach, South Florida Artist, Romero Britto, for a sculpture named “Mr. Welcome” that will greet people and can be viewed from the Dade-Metro Rail Station. It took days to assemble using cranes and bucket trucks. There was 15,000 tons of aluminum sculptured pieces which were hand painted by the artist.
